What You'll Get
According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, humans cannot attain self-actualization without first tending to such basic physiological needs as water, sleep, and brisket. Achieve overall fulfillment with today’s Groupon: for $16, you get a pub meal for two at Dominion House (up to a $32.65 total value). The pub meal includes:
- One starter to share (up to a $9.55 value)
- Two entrees (up to an $11.55 value each)<p>
Established in 1878, the Dominion House remains one of Windsor’s oldest continually operating taverns, an inviting place where barkeeps pour draft beers and cooks craft hot, hearty fare. The menu initiates tandem salivation as pairs peruse starters such as deep-fried pickles or samosas stuffed with spiced potatoes and veggies. Irish fare including fish ‘n’ chips—a heaping of one or two beer-battered haddock fillets and crisp, golden fries—then rewards well-behaved hunger howls during the main course. More entrees range from Guinness-splashed Irish stew to bangers and mash, an assemblage of farmer’s sausage, sautéed onions, bacon, and gravy atop mashed potatoes named after the Emerald Isle’s first folk-death metal duo.
Though not included in today’s deal, tandems can sample Dominion’s 12 drafts beers while admiring the fearless exposure of the interior’s hardwood beams and brick walls. Live entertainment accompanies meals Tuesday–Thursday nights.

About Dominion House
Since it first threw open its Tudor-style doors in 1878, Windsor's oldest tavern has kept whistles wet and toes tapping with beers, live music, and a full menu of sandwiches and pub-style entrees such as fish 'n' chips and shepherd's pie. A dozen different brews flood from the tap, slaking the thirsts of guests plugging away at open mic and trivia nights. Beyond the main dining room’s checkered floors, long communal-style tables, and crimson walls, private rooms host parties of up to 100 merrymakers or several million thimbles.
