Q:

Hi, I wanted to know if keratin treatment is a good idea for person with dandruff scalp? - my scalp is oily and pron to dandruff. I regularly use dandruff shampoo else i get visible dandruff. does dandruff shampoo will work well with Keratin treatment hair and hair care products?

piyali d.  asked on  Aug 21, 2012

A:

Hi Piyali, This Keratin treatment is a formaldehyde free, smoothing hair treatment so this would not remedy a dandruff prone scalp. The after-care products are designed to make the keratin treatment last longer, so if you are regularly using dandruff shampoo the treatment may not last as long. If you need more information please feel free to call the salon at (410) 327-1281. Thank you for your interest!
