"Let it be known that there's no wrong way to eat a dosa. Unless you're putting ketchup on it. That ain't right."
So advises the Facebook page of Dosa Factory, whose customers are sometimes at a loss when they get a tray topped with a more-than-foot-long dosa. Paired with multiple dipping sauces, the Indian-style crepe is rolled around a choice of fillings, from lamb vindaloo to peking duck. Customers can eat the delicacy with a knife and fork, their bare hands, or hands that are wearing clothes.
Despite the restaurant's name, dosas are hardly the only dish on the seemingly never-ending menu. There are classic tandoor entrees, such as roasted lamb, as well as inventive naan pizzas topped with spiced meats. Indochinese fusion dishes appear as well, including cauliflower dumplings that speak to the restaurant's many vegetarian options.
