Each pizza on DoubleDave’s menu is crafted using dough that’s hand-tossed twice daily before being smothered in tomato sauce and fresh cheese. Start by choosing one of four carefully crafted crusts: hand-tossed original, crispy thin crust, deep dish, or honey whole wheat. Then, pile on any number of DoubleDave’s 19 toppings, such as pepperoni, smoked ham, mushrooms, and garlic spinach. Large dough disks measure-in at 15 inches, much like a ruler taking growth hormone injections, and medium pizzas round out at 12 inches apiece.

For a prepizza snack, six pepperoni rolls marry pepperoni and smoked provolone the way only fresh dough and Internet-ordained ministers can. These days, within DoubleDave's Pizzaworks restaurants' 30 Texas and Oklahoma locations, chefs concoct Dave's signature honey whole-wheat crust daily from hand-tossed dough along with batches of sauce made from scratch with Escalon tomatoes. Those ingredients join hand-cut veggies and meats from Tyson and Burke to collectively form a delectable disk that proves once and for all that pie can be divided evenly.
