Daycare runs between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and includes meals, naptime, and play time with other dogs of similar sizes and personalities. During wellness exams, vets from the adjoining Swan Harbor Animal Hospital check pups’ vitals through a routine health check-up. Dogs boarding overnight doze in climate-controlled kennels with elevated beds and heated floors. During the day, dogs are let out five or six times for 20 minutes; further daycare amenities are available for an additional fee.

The Downtown Dog Resort & Spa's diverse 10,000-square-foot facility helps its canine guests sleep, exercise, and stay healthy all in one spot. During daycare sessions, pups are matched with friends of similar sizes and temperaments before they clamber over jungle gyms and dive into pools. Doggie treadmills help pooches jog off extra pounds, and obedience training teaches them to avoid the temptation of biting on a check-raise bluff during a game of poker. At night, boarding pups settle into small and large suites replete with heated floors, elevated beds, and overhead air-conditioning. In addition to creature comforts, the hotel also keeps vets from the adjoining Swan Harbor Animal Hospital close to dole out health screenings and respond to any issues that might arise.
