Q:

Will Dr. Ross be doing the injections or will it be a PA or NP?

Patricia M.  asked on  Apr 3, 2012

A:

Dr. Ross will be doing the injections. She has over 15 years experience injecting Botox and facial fillers. We want our patients to receive the very best and you cannot get better than a Board Certified Dermatologist. Our patients are in the best of hands.

Q:

What is the comparison of Botox to Dysport, as far as units? I know more units are needed of Dysport but was wondering what the ratio is. I know how many units of Botox I use but what I have read 2-3 times more of disport is needed to equal that of botox.

Amanda B.  asked on  Apr 2, 2012

A:

It's hard to give you an exact answer, but you are correct. If you usually get X amount of Botox, you will need approximately 2-3 times the units of Dysport

Q:

Is Dysport a Botox Treatment? How many treatment is 64 units?

Jennifer H.  asked on  Apr 2, 2012

A:

Dysport and Botox are both treating wrinkles of the forehead, the lateral eyes, and between the brows. They are just two different brand names. 64 units of Dysport will treat on average one of the three sites mentioned above. It really depends on how strong that muscle is or how big the area is. Dr. Ross will be able to tell you exactly when you come.

Q:

Is this like botox

Isabel J.  asked on  Apr 1, 2012

A:

Hi Isabel, Yes! I would recommend calling one of the locations to get more details.

Ashley N.  from  Self  replied on  Apr 2, 2012

A:

Good morning Isabel. Dysport is just another brand name. Think of it as Pepsi and Coca Cola. They both are used to treat wrinkles on the forehead, lateral eyes (crow's feet), and between the brows (frown lines).

Q:

hi, was wondering if you would use all 64 units in one visit or you would be able to use for two visits? Thank you.

Caren G.  asked on  Apr 1, 2012

A:

Hi Caren! You would be able to use the units across visits, depending on what the doctor recommends. Thanks!

Ashley N.  from  Self  replied on  Apr 2, 2012

A:

Hi Caren this is Tanya at Dr. Ross' office. You will more than likely use the 64 units in one visit because the amount is enough to treat one of the following areas: in between the brows (frown lines), the lateral eyes (crows feet), or the forehead.

Q:

can dysport be injected on crow lines

sylvia  asked on  Apr 2, 2012

A:

Yes dysport can be injected to treat the lateral eye area or crow's feet. It is designed to prevent the unwanted wrinkle formation on either the forehead, the lateral eyes, or in between the brows.

Q:

Is there an additional charge for the consultation? Could I get a consultation prior to purchasing this Groupon? I'm interested in this, but I have concerns about getting this sort of cosmetic treatment done. Finally, is 64 units enough to treat the glabella (mine is pretty strong)?

Gretchen D.  asked on  Apr 1, 2012

A:

Good Morning Gretchen. Our cosmetic consulatations are always free and yes 64 units is enough to treat the glabella.
