Q:

hi, I saw that there is a limit of 2 per person. I need two small areas done (two from the list of "small areas" included). Does that mean that i should buy two groupons of the $99 for 3 treatments for each of those small areas or does that go against the "limit 1 per visit"?

Elizabeth  asked on  Mar 4, 2013

A:

Hi Elizabeth, You may purchase up to two vouchers, however they can't be used on the same visit.

Q:

The fine print states a limit of 2 per person which must be used on the same area. However, would i be able to purchase 1 small and 1 medium groupon to use on both underarms and bikini? I have had laser in these areas before and am looking for a touch up rather than full removal. Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks!

Kristen T.  asked on  Feb 28, 2013

A:

Kristen, You can purchase 2 vouchers, however they can not be used at the same visit.

Q:

I am interested in having Brazilian laser hair removal done, not just my bikini line. Can I combine vouchers to have the whole area done?

Megan L.  asked on  Feb 28, 2013

A:

The Groupon special only includes the bikini line, unfortunately it can't be combined for other treatment areas.

Q:

Does the laser instrument used apply direct heat to the skin? What type of material is the instrument made of? I ask this question because I tried a so called laser treatment before and it burned my skin. The pain was intensive.

Marilyn C.  asked on  Feb 28, 2013

A:

Hello, Thank you for your question. The laser is an Alma Laser. You should not get burned from the treatment. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience in the past.

Hi, thanks for the question. You should spread the sessions out about 4 weeks apart. Hope to see you in the office and Happy Birthday!

Q:

How many treatments does one normally have to do before there is no longer any visible or new hair growth visible?

Lacy B.  asked on  Feb 28, 2013

A:

Lacy, that is a very good question and the answer is it is different for different people. Some may get rid of all their unwanted hair in 3 to 5 treatments but for others it may take 7 or in some cases even more. The good news is Dr. Pelias offers a free consultation to discuss a hair removal plan for you.
