At the foot of Frenchman Street in the hopping Marigny neighborhood in New Orleans, there's a brand-new nightlife experience every night of the week at Dragon's Den. For 15 years, this hard-to-miss music venue (with its vivid blue and yellow balcony and inviting courtyard) has beckoned flocks of locals and in-the-know tourists to revel until sunup with an endless array of live entertainment.
The stage sways with reggae or salsa music on some nights. On others, it hosts DJs spinning bombastic EDM or fast-paced hip-hop beats, musicians playing live jazz, and even comedians and dancers putting on burlesque shows.
The entourage-friendly Dragon's Den, which is operated by the same party authorities behind The Maison and The Hi Ho Lounge, keeps dancing feet fueled with food from The Big Cheezy Kitchen. It churns out artisan twists on grilled cheese sandwiches, including one piled high with four-cheese mac 'n' cheese.
