The Pacific Northwest's multicultural heritage is something to be proud of, and it's something that the people at Dragon Zone frequently celebrate. Their fleet of colorful vessels surges into the rivers winding through Vancouver and Seattle during numerous annual races and regattas that commemorate the region's various cultures. Operated by the Canadian International Dragon Boat Festival Society, Dragon Zone’s cadre of coaches helms drop-in and introductory courses, outfitting pupils with the skills necessary to discover the ancient basics of dragon-boat paddling and impress boatless whales. Their well-maintained boats, marathon canoes, and outriggers grant existent teams a chance to hone their skills, whereas programs for schools and families and friends facilitate hands-on teamwork building for scullers of all ages.
