What You'll Get
While you might be familiar with Ambrosia's radio hits of the '70s, the songs on their five albums also hit on progressive and experimental. This group, which was originally labeled as America's answer to English acts like Yes and King Crimson, is as comfortable with ballads as with driving rock 'n' roll. They can be serious, they can be playful -- but the music is always rich and the harmonies are beautifully blended. Some of their hits include "Holdin' On to Yesterday," "Nice, Nice, Very Nice," a cover of The Beatles' "Magical Mystery Tour," "How Much I Feel," "Biggest Part of Me" and "You're the Only Woman." Diane & The Deductibles will be opening this show at Huntington Beach Central Library Theatre and Cultural Center.
