Drink the World International Beer Fest
DAR Constitution Hall, D.C.'s largest concert venue. The hall, which opened in 1929, was originally designed to house the annual Daughters of the American Revolution convention. The first musical event in the hall was on November 2, 1929, and since then it has played host to everyone from Duke Ellington to George Carlin to the Moscow Philharmonic to Aerosmith. It is now a national historic landmark that welcomes more than a half a million patrons a year.
Drink the World International Beer Fest, one of the world's biggest beer-tasting events with more than 70 beers from dozens of countries, including:
- Belgium: Chimay
- Costa Rica: Imperial
- England: Strongbow Cider
- Jamaica: Red Stripe
- Sweden: Oppigards
Each guest gets an event passport that yields unlimited pours during their session. They'll also dine on global cuisine, hear live music, and be entered in a complimentary raffle. Other prizes include awards for best international outfits, and everyone is sent home with a souvenir tasting glass and pictures from the complimentary photo booth.
