If the Mersey Beatles were any more authentic, Paul and Ringo would have to cough up some royalties. While most tribute bands try to mimic the Fab Four's sound and style, only the Mersey Beatles share the band's DNA. Formed by four native Liverpudlians, the Mersey Beatles spent a decade honing their sound at the Cavern Club, playing near the spot where the Quarrymen started their "long and winding road" to becoming the Beatles. Now this talented, mop-topped quartet brings the authentic sound and spirit of the Beatles to Pittsburgh's Rex Theater as part of their first-ever U.S. tour. As a special treat, Julia Baird, John Lennon's sister, will be signing copies of her book Imagine This: Growing Up With My Brother John Lennon.
Julia Baird will be signing copies of her book Imagine This: Growing Up with My Brother John Lennon at the general merchandise table before, during and after the show.
