What You'll Get
Legendary guitar hero Marty Friedman, who went from playing lead in the platinum-selling metal band Megadeth to mega-popularity in Japan as a musician, songwriter and TV personality, is now back in the States touring behind his latest well-received solo release, Inferno. Friedman spent a decade with the Dave Mustaine-led thrash rockers, scoring Grammy nominations and huge sales on every Megadeth album from 1990’s Rust in Peace to 1999’s Risk. And after even bigger success in Asia on his own, Friedman returns with his highest-debuting solo disc ever, voted 2014’s Best Shred Album by Guitar World magazine readers. He’ll take the stage at Pittsburgh’s Altar Bar.
