What You'll Get
The human obsession with flight stems from a refusal to accept limitations and an intense desire to find out which of your neighbors secretly have pools. Put your eyes in the skies with this Groupon.
Choose from Three Options
- $56 for a 30-minute powered hang-gliding lesson (a $112.50 value)
- $120 for an Ultra Discovery flight for one (a $295 value)
- $219 for an Ultra Discovery flight for two (a $590 value)
During the lesson, the certified pilot takes a passenger up in the powered hang-glider, commonly called a "trike," demonstrating flying basics. During the Ultra Discovery flight, which also lasts about 30 minutes, one or two customers get a lesson before taking over the controls themselves, getting bird's-eye views of Jacksonville and the Saint Johns River. The Ultra Discovery options include a memory card with digital images captured from the wing-mounted camera.

About Duckwing Triking
The Sea & Sky Krucker Cygnet, the aircraft of choice at Duckwing Triking, may resemble a hang-glider with a motor, but a flight in it is more than just gliding about in the breeze. Called a "trike" because of its three wheels, it's an amphibious vehicle, meaning it can take off from land or water and it hatches from aquatic larva instead of being made in a factory. The pilots at Duckwing love teaching others about this unusual craft, which is why every flight is a lesson instead of just a ride-along. Passengers get a chance to take the controls and soar above the Gulf of Mexico, and St. Joseph Sound.
