What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Duke Diving Club has produced many elite athletes who have gone on to compete for the USA internationally as well as those who have gone on to earn college scholarships. We have everything a diver could ask for for the best training possible, including a state of the art dryland facility.
What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
A tip for a first timer would be to look at some YouTube videos of Springboard diving just to gather a general idea of what diving looks like and the different forms and positions one would see in diving. Please keep in mind you are not expected to have any prior knowledge of diving before coming.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Diving is a wonderful and fun sport that has provided my life with countless opportunities. I have traveled all over and met some of my closest friends in this sport as well as earned an education. I love this sport and I want to be able to provide these opportunities to others.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that I can stay involved in the sport of diving even after I have officially retired as an athlete myself. this sport continues to influence my life everyday.
