You Shouldn’t Get This Treatment If
- You have very dark skin (Fitzpatrick V–VI) and the device may not be suitable
- You have a recent sunburn or recent tanning, including self-tanner
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have active skin infections, rashes, eczema, or psoriasis in the treatment area
- You have a history of skin cancer or pre-cancerous lesions in the area
- You are taking medications or supplements that cause photosensitivity
- You recently had chemical peels, laser treatments, or dermabrasion in the same area
- You have tattoos in the treatment area
- You have severe acne lesions or open wounds at the site
Aftercare Instructions
- Redness and mild swelling are normal—apply a cool compress if needed
- Wear SPF 30+ daily and avoid direct sun for at least 2 weeks
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, and exercise for 24–48 hours
