Q:

Can the Cook;n be downloaded to my Nook or kindle or even to my nexus 7? It sure would be easier to use if I was able to adapt it to any of my e-readers as well as my nexus 7. Thanks,

Q:

I have an Android tablet that I like to bring into the kitchen, since most of my recipes are in on-line recipe boxes. Do you have an ap for Android devices? I have been soooo wanting one place to look for my recipes, instead of looking through half a dozen recipe boxes trying to remember which one had the particular recipe I want. Maureen

Maureen P.  asked on  Jan 19, 2013

A:

Yes, we will be releasing the Android app shortly! (http://www.dvo.com/cookn-android.html)

Q:

Hi ... I am wondering what happens if I change my computer what happens to my downloaded program. Can I have the program on a CD so I can load it on to another computer should something happen say a year or so down the line or even later. I don't want to go through all the trouble of inputting my stuff only to lose it couple of years later. Thanks.

Maria F.  asked on  Jan 18, 2013

A:

Hi Maria, I can understand your concern. You can contact support@dvo.com if you run into this situation and after confirming your previous purchase could send you another link or you could purchase a backup CD at the checkout on our site as you redeem your voucher.

If you have indefinite use of the software I am wondering why you can buy up to 3 for yourself? Please explain. Thanks, Anne

Anna F.  asked on  Jan 18, 2013

A:

Hi Anne, some people decide to purchase a copy for a friend which is why Groupon has allowed this for up to 3.

Q:

I understand that there will be no CD for the cookbook program. I understand that I can download the program to my computer. Can I however, burn the program onto a CD in the event that I purchase a new computer or if the present computer fails, etc.? Bottom line... I would like a hardcopy.

J F.  asked on  Jan 17, 2013

A:

Yes, you could burn the program onto a CD. You also have the option of purchasing a backup CD as you redeem your code on DVO's site. Yet another option is to download support@dvo.com in the case of losing Cook'n, and assuming we can confirm your previous purchase we could provide you with another download link if needed.
