Q:

does the will we buy include power of attorney form?

Robin A.  asked on  Jan 1, 2013

A:

Hi Doris, Thanks for your question. This is Michael from www.DynamicLegalForms.com. The Will-O-Matic does not include a power of attorney. That said, we are about to launch our Power of Attorney Wizard throughout Canada in about 2 weeks. Also worth mentioning is that, I'd be weary about purchasing other power of attorney forms online. It's taken many months to develop our Power of Attorney Wizard. I've researched power of attorney laws (which are provincial) and they are very complex. You should always ask these questions when looking to buy a power of attorney online (and don't be satisfied with simple "yes" answer): 1. Was the system designed by a Canadian lawyer? 2. Is it based on provincial power of attorney laws (which are very complex)? 3. Is it comprehensive? 4. Is it regularly updated - especially when the laws change? 5. Does it educate me along the way? 6. Can I make edits if I made a mistake? If so, for how long? Does they cost anything? 7. Does the power of attorney use appropriate and clear legal language that lawyers and judges understand? 8. Is your company reputable? 9. How many people have bought your power of attorney package? 10. Does your company have insurance? 11. How long has your business been in business? Hope this helps!

Q:

If you are a married couple do you need two will o matics or will one allow you to do two wills.

Lynne K.  asked on  Jan 2, 2013

A:

Hi Lynne, Thanks for your question. This is Michael from www.DynamicLegalForms.com. Each person requires their own voucher and Will (even married spouses). Joint / mutual Wills are not generally recommended and the Will-O-Matic does not create these types of Wills. Hope this helps!
