Eagan Art House’s seasoned painter-teachers help students bolster brushstrokes while exploring creativity during a variety of six-week courses offered through the City of Eagan Parks and Recreation Department. Learners move at their own pace, receiving individualized guidance on how to mix colors and paint targets on moving objects.

Those who enroll in Painting in Acrylics, Pastels, and Oils will learn when and how to use each medium, receiving encouraging feedback as they bring canvases to life. Oil painting students will learn the difference between painting oil and cooking oil, and landscape students study light, composition, and perspective, discovering how to paint rattlesnakes from a distance and snow in the middle of July.
