What You'll Get
Like the seedpod of the sacred lotus, golf courses are filled with holes and cause feelings of euphoria when chewed. Chew the scenery with today's Groupon: for $24, you get 18 holes of golf plus cart rental (up to a $60 value) and a medium bucket of driving-range balls (a $4 value) at the Eagle Crest golf course at Golf Summerlin in Sun City (up to a $64 total value).
Designed by golf hall-of-famer Bill Casper and course-planning guru Greg Nash, the Eagle Crest course encompasses 18 holes of varied and challenging terrain opening out on stunning city panoramas. The par 60 executive course fluctuates in elevation as it cozies up to a mountainside, demanding creative club choice and softly spoken pastoral sonnets. Navigating peaks and valleys in a gassed-up golf cart, dexterous club-wielders rattle cups spanning more than 4,000 yards of meticulously maintained greens, wicked doglegs, and imposing water hazards. A bucket of driving-range balls gives golfers a chance to sling pre-round shots or foil pursuing automobiles.

About Eagle Crest Golf Club
Designed by World Golf Hall of Famer Billy Casper and course-planning guru Greg Nash, Eagle Crest Golf Club's 18-hole, 4,067-yard executive course offers scenic city views from some of Las Vegas's highest points. The par 60 layout fluctuates in elevation as it cozies up to an amber mountainside, demanding confident club selection and a passing capacity for Bavarian yodeling. Throughout the round, 12 par 3s reward pin-high iron shots, while 4 par 4s allow players to unleash aggression with flush drives. Rounds conclude at the straightaway, 370-yard, par 4 18th hole, where the fairway plummets 40 feet into a large, bunker-fortified green that lets you punch it if it flinches in anticipation of a craterous ball mark.
