Aimee Maurer was always set on sharing her love of art with others. When looming budget cuts dampened her enthusiasm to teach art at a public school, Aimee decided to create her own outlet, and she founded Easel Expressions. Her upbeat classes meet at area restaurants and allow aspiring artists of all ages and skill levels to enjoy the process of creating a masterpiece. Easel Expressions provides all necessary brushes, paints, and supplies, and instructors offer step-by-step guidance as guests paint scenes such as a beach sunset or rain-glazed city streets. At the end of the event, students can take their canvas home and display the finished work.
