The East Bay Children's Theatre's 2016 production is another world premiere musical from award-winning playwright and composer Ron Lytle. Based on the timeless Arabian Nights tale, Aladdin and the Lamp tells the story of a boy who is adrift on the highway of life. After being trapped in the Cave of Colossal Curses by a comical villain (Felonioso), Aladdin discovers a magical lamp and it's occupant (Gene E.), falls in love, changes his ways, and learns what it truly means to be "like a man." With a Broadway caliber score, hilarious script, positive message, and ingenious special effects, East Bay Children's Theatre's newest original production promises to cast a spell over you.
