What You'll Get
The most secretive body parts are muscles, which hide behind layers of skin and appear only occasionally to help lift cars off trapped kittens. Flex in the absence of a cat emergency with today's Groupon: for $25, you get one month of cardio-kickboxing boot-camp and Ultimate Fitness self-defense classes at East Coast United (a $60 value).
East Coast United's seasoned instructors help students erect strength and confidence atop a foundation of martial-arts techniques. In the cardio-kickboxing boot-camp class, clients drawn to intense workouts can master the strikes and blocks needed to best opponents and fend off attacking kangaroos while slaying calories and stockpiling stamina. Ultimate Fitness classes call on the entire body for exercises employing free weights, resistance bands, and TRX suspension training. Students will learn to protect their newly chiseled cores with a mix of boxing and self-defense techniques, practicing on a safely padded instructor. Members enjoy unlimited participation and high-fives on demand during scheduled times, and the gym recommends two classes per week to develop proficiency and produce physical change.

About Fit Club Fairfield
Inside the massive, well-outfitted Sportsplex, Fit Club Fairfield's team of personal trainers and fighting coaches teaches martial arts as both a method of self-defense and vigorous exercise. They train aspiring fighters in boxing, jujitsu, and muay thai, arming them with a suite of takedowns, punches, and kicks used in professional bouts. In sessions geared toward fitness, the team pits students against punching bags and focus pads as they battle off calories in pursuit of slimmer physiques, making participants more confident to don swimsuits or show their pillows who’s the boss.
