Q:

What are the benefits of the glycolic peel vs the photofacial? I'm familiar with the peels but are there added or different benefits with the photofacial? Is there a 'recovery' time to either of them?

Laura P.  asked on  Mar 4, 2012

A:

Hi Laura, Both have similar and great benefits. There is no "recovery" time necessary. There may be some redness with the photo facial that could last just a few hours. There could also be slight darkening on age spots and sun damaged spots but, overall, there is no downtime needed. Thanks!

How many sessions does it typically take, for both options, to get the optimum results?

Pat J.  asked on  Mar 4, 2012

Hi Pat, For the Photofacial you will see results after the first visit but East Side Laser recommends 3 visits for the most optimal results. For the peel, East Side Laser recommends doing this once a month. Thanks!
