Choose Between Two Options
- $39 for 5 TRX suspension or mixed-martial-arts classes (a $150 value)
- $65 for 10 TRX suspension or mixed-martial-arts classes (a $300 value)
TRX suspension training lets participants use their own body weight for an intense workout designed for all ages and ranges of fitness levels. Derived from Navy SEALs exercise programs, the training simultaneously develops strength, power, endurance, mobility, durability, balance, flexibility, and core stability in one action-orientated workout.
Others may opt for the sports-based training of mixed-martial-arts, which covers all aspects of stand-up fighting, ground fighting, and fight conditioning. Participants at each high-intensity, co-ed session require no previous fight experience. MMA gloves, mouthpieces, shin guards, and groin protectors are not included and required. Grappling gloves, rash guards, and MMA or kickboxing shorts or pants are recommended. This is not a rank program, so no uniforms are necessary. See the class schedule.

About Eastside Training
Founded by champion kickboxer Josef Stritmator, Eastside Training provides personalized instruction via small boot-camp and martial-arts classes. Stretched across 1,200 square feet on the Upper East Side, the fitness arena stocks rows of kettle bells, TRX suspension equipment, and heavy bags. Enthusiastic and highly trained instructors lead daily sessions, helping students to shed unwanted pounds, tone torsos, and bench-press rowdy roommates. During a kids’ conditioning class, youngsters practice martial-arts disciplines such as karate and tae kwon do to build the strength, character, and concentration needed to beat one’s own reflection in a staring contest.
