About Eastlake Craft Brewery
Something special is happening in the old Sears & Roebuck building, and it's not a sale on men's pants. Now under the control of Eastlake Brewery & Tavern, the building houses brewers concocting an ever-evolving selection of craft beers. Using their talents, they devise post-modern takes on traditional American and European styles such as the Increasingly Lost Saison, Devil's Kettle IPA, Nicollet Mauler Black IPA, Stick Style IPA, Blueliner Pale, and Eye of the Tiger, which brewers describe as a Vietnamese/Belgian strong ale. Beer isn't the only thing they brew, however. On-site tanks also alchemize two types of kombucha, and hold gallons of local root beer and ginger ale. Although they may be the main attraction, these beverages comprise only half of the taproom's appeal. Hungry customers can chow down on cheesesteak tortas, banh mi, and signature vegan Indurritos from the nearby Midtown Global Market.
