Due to the large number of ghosts they can hold, haunted houses are consistently scarier than cursed sleeping bags, possessed lean-tos, and ectoplasmic studio apartments. Observe impressive amounts of space with today’s Groupon for admission to the 13th Street Fear Factory and 3-D Freak House on September 30 at Easton Haunts from 7–10 p.m. Choose between two options:

  • For $10, you get one ticket (a $20 value).
  • For $35, you get four tickets (a $70 value).

Inside a 15,000-square-foot former silk mill, Easton Haunts sparks modern-day thrills and chills with two separate haunted houses. Thirty-five actors trained in the art of fear by professional scarecrows weave an intricate tale of a genetic facility gone wrong in the 13th Street Fear Factory. As groups and individuals recoil from disgruntled henchmen and a mad scientist, the caged victims of failed experiments cry out for help and comforting back massages. Friends and families experience the reality-questioning images of the 3-D freak house, which incites fear in the most hardened of group psyches as 3-D glasses amplify frightening images of lollipops shaped like Rutherford B. Hayes.

3D Frights

As Halloween nears, a cold chill takes over the normally peaceful grounds of the Pocono Bazaar Flea Market. It has nothing to do with the weather. Scary clowns, zombies, and other terrors wait around dark corners, only coming into view once lights flash and loud sounds announce their presence. Luckily, the horror is confined to 3D Frights. As its name suggests, the haunted attraction outfits its visitors with pairs of 3D glasses, which make the scary clowns appear closer, the ceilings look like they're caving in, and the watch on your wrist look like you just missed dinner.
