The course is in good condition. The greens better than some course in the area. The practice green is non-existent. Always a good course to play.

About EastWood Golf Club

At EastWood Golf Club, players are swept up in a classic Floridian golf setting—one in which tropical greenery and calm breezes belie the true treachery that awaits. The top distance on the scorecard is the first indication that this won't be an easy stroll through paradise. At 7,176 yards from the rear tee, the course demands distance from anyone who chooses to play without a Flubber-enhanced driver. Individual holes boast some eye-popping lengths as well; No. 10, for example, welcomes players to the back nine with a 628-yard par 5.

Those gentle breezes can easily swell into swirling winds, so otherwise well-hit shots might find themselves racing off-course—usually right into a lake. Water hazards large and small dot the course's 190 acres, making an appearance on just about every hole. Deep pot bunkers and rolling mounds further complicate matters for any golfer who strays from the lush fairways. Read below for a by-the-numbers glance at EastWood Golf Club.

  • Number of holes: 18
  • Course par: 72
  • Length from the back tees: 7,176 yards
  • Longest hole: No. 10, a par 5 measuring 628 yards from the back tees
  • Course rating: 75.5
  • Course slope: 133
