A Chat with Ebb & Flow :: Yoga Surf Studio
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We are a beautiful one-of-a-kind sanctuary located between Athens and Atlanta in the heart of Loganville. We offer classes of all styles for beginners and experienced students alike. Classes are offered throughout the day for all ages. In the summer, we head to the water for SUP yoga classes.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
Our variety of classes helps students mix up their practice and work the mind and body in different and sometimes challenging ways. Our focus is always on the purpose of yoga and to bring the body, mind, and breath together.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Megan Kearney founded Ebb & Flow Yoga Surf Studio after teaching throughout Gwinnett County for three years. She is also passionate about the water and so indoor/outdoor classes on paddleboards are provided. We are a one-of-a-kind sanctuary for those who love the practice and want to build community.
What do you love most about your job?
It’s the best job ever! I get to teach yoga and I am also a Thai massage therapist, so I love to assist my students and help them find and ease into poses. To see people open their minds to what yoga can do for them is so exciting, whether it is pain and stress relief or building strength and flexibility.
