The Deal

  • $339 for a two-weekend open-water diver certification course, including snorkel, scuba mask, and rental of all other necessary gear (a $695 value)

Students earn their lifetime PADI open-water diver certification and card during the express certification class, which is spread over two weekends. The session includes study materials, a pre-class 90-minute fitting for provided diving equipment, two pool sessions, two ocean sessions, and a graduation ceremony. Class dates will be set when you call to register.

Eco Dive Center

Eco Dive Center’s dedication to water conservation shines through in its educational programs—the dive team teaches its students not only about scuba diving, but how to properly care for and respect the underwater world. It’s much more than just a water-safety school and aquatics emporium, although it does house dive gear from renowned brands such as Bare and Oceanic in its 5,000 square-foot store. And it does, of course, certify students in both basic open-water PADI skills and more advanced specialties, such as rescue and first-response.

“This shop is amazing! Haven't done a dive with them yet but their customer service alone is worth getting certified. very helpful! I am already certified but it has been a few years since my last dive. We purchased 3 open water certifications (birthday gift for my wife and 2 friends) and they will let me dive with them as a refresher dive (just paying for gear). So excited! Highly recommend.”
