Sadly, honesty doesn't prevail. I was asked to chose between a "band-aid" and a replacement, without being told the issues or price. When I pressed for details, it was $980 for the band-aid and $12,000 for the replacement. The band-aid was actually a common $10 capacitor, that in no way justifies a $980 charge. Labor would have been an hour. It seems they look at Groupon as a way to reel in the dumb fish.
The guys at Econo Air are paid on commission. They quoted me $1700 of repairs. I called for a 2nd opinion trying to lower the repair costs & the guy told me my A.C. unit is working great & no repairs are needed!
Tough being lied to by such a young Econo Air repair tech. Lied to my face doesn't feel good & will definitely keep my guard up.

What do you love most about your job? Being able to help home owners with when others couldn't. Understanding home owners needs and working within their budget. Reducing their energy bills to almost nothing.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? Our installation crew was professional, courteous and so efficient, were done with job in shorter amount of time then anticipated. The HVAC has never ran as great. Can't believe they lived with the system they had for so long.
