What You'll Get
Known to move at the speed of light, light is impossible to beat in a footrace, but strangely simple to defeat with a camera. Appreciate the blinding speed of photographic devices with today’s Groupon: for $65, you get an in-studio or on-location photo session, prints, and high-resolution digital files (up to a $354 value) from Eleakis & Elder Photography. This Groupon also includes 25% off anything ordered within 30 days of the session.
At Eleakis & Elder Photography, a team of talented picture technicians beautifully redesigns reality in accordance with the laws of lens and light. Individuals and groups can record their existence for Earth’s future galactic conquerors during a 60- to 90-minute photo shoot at Eleakis & Elder’s studio or at the customer's favorite park, English professor's house, or abandoned missile silo within a 10-mile radius of the studio. Pets and pals are welcome to join the frame as the mechanical painters craft brilliant photographic canvases of graduates, newly engaged couples, and awkward father/son discussions about puberty. Although most sessions last between an hour and an hour and a half, there is no charge if the session goes longer.
Clients are rewarded for their posing prowess with a collection of high-resolution, professionally retouched prints from a choice of up to four poses. You'll get two sets of four wallet-sized pictures ($50), two 5" x 7" or smaller prints (up to $64), and one 8" x 10" ($40), plus digital versions of each print image. Select your favorite grimace, grin, and gape from your face wardrobe and surprise the photographer by wearing all three at the same time. Photo shoots can be scheduled between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday ($150 value) or Saturday ($200 value), or on weekdays after hours ($200 value).
Cannot be redeemed on Sundays or for photographs of multiple families (e.g. family reunion shots).

About Eleakis & Elder Photography
The team behind Eleakis & Elder Photography draws artistic inspiration from what is most important in their own lives: their human and four-legged family members. Roger Ele and his wife and part-time assistant, Joan Stathakis-Ele, founded the studio in 1986; since then, Roger has relied on low-light photography and his love for animals to capture countless families, brides, and beloved pets. Chantel Elder joined the staff in 2001 and became a partner in 2008. When she's not busy in the studio, she can be found cooking with her new husband, spending time in the garden, and hanging out with her two boston terriers. New crew member Mark Long has been a professional photographer for more than 30 years—about as long as he's been married. Though he studied commercial and underwater photography at the renowned Brooks Institute, he now looks no further than his two children and grandchild for a smiling subject.
In addition to snapping pictures of furry friends, the photographers support the Sacramento SPCA and other charitable animal causes. They can turn feline or canine portraits into wall art, a 30-page album, and gift cards, or shred them and weave the strips into a pet sweater. They are also fans of the performing arts: Roger has done work for The Sacramento Ballet and has been the official photographer of Sacramento Opera since 1984.
