Dry infrared heat can help increase circulation and ease pain and stiffness
What You'll Get
- How it works: infrared heat permeates to the body’s core faster than the warm air of a regular sauna, elevating the heart rate to help boost the metabolism.
- Benefits: on top of the traditional benefits of a sauna session—relaxed muscles and a cleansing, steam-induced sweat—infrared saunas can also play a role in weight-loss regimens.
- Length of single session: 30 minutes

About Elevate Float Center
Elevate Float Center is upgrading the very concept of the sensory-deprivation tank. They start with the term "float tank" itself, discarding it in favor of "float chamber." But these private floating quarters really do deserve their own name: each is ultra-spacious, perfectly silent, and lightless—not to mention filled with crystal-clear water heated to the temperature of your body. Using UV sterilization and ozone injection, the center filters out every trace of debris, even pollutants smaller than a skin cell.
That is, except for the salt. That's there on purpose, though. Each tank has 1,300 pounds of pharmaceutical-grade epsom salts dissolved into its water for extra buoyancy. What you're left with then is a sensation that's closer to floating on air than floating in water. That might be why a session—which typically lasts 75 minutes—can help reduce blood pressure, lower heart rates, and boost introspection.
