Q:

Do I need to pay extra for an exam or workup to know if I am a candidate for this therapy? If so, how much is it? Do you accept Humana Gold Choice Insurance? What kind of follow-up do you do: lab work, exams, etc. and do you accept my insurance for that?

Dr. C.  asked on  Jan 8, 2013

A:

No, a medical lab analysis is not required for B Complex injections.

Q:

Does the B Complex injection have the same amount of B12 as the single B12 injection? Which shot would be better for boosting energy and red blood cell production? Which, if any, would be better for menopausal symptoms? Lastly, do you know if the injections are preserved with anything? Thanks so much for your time!

Andrea H.  asked on  Jan 7, 2013

Q:

Okay we get shots from Pro-Care weekly but they use 2 cc's, so how does that pan up to your dosage?

Vanessa D.  asked on  Jan 7, 2013

A:

CC's is simply the amount of liquid, it has nothing to do with the dose potency, I have no idea who Pro Care is or what product they use. We are a medical office and use compounded products from local Pharmacies.

Q:

I noticed that it expires on May 8, 2013. Does that mean that you have to use it all before then or just use the coupon before then?

Vanessa D.  asked on  Jan 7, 2013

A:

No you don't have to use it by then, just need to contact our office before then so we can enter you in our system! Please let me know if there are any more questions, thank you!

Q:

Are the shots 1000 or 2000ccs? Can the shots be given daily? If not, how often?

Helen C.  asked on  Jan 7, 2013

A:

I think you mean MCG not cc's, Mcg refers to the concentration, CC's refers to the volume of liquid. We Use 1000mcg and should be dosaged weekly.
