Certified Texas DPS and NRA handgun instructors lead students through 10 hours of classroom instruction and testing, preparing them to receive their concealed-handgun license from the state of Texas. The course covers the use of force, gun safety, gun storage, dispute resolution, Texas laws regarding the use of force, and state licensing requirements. Tuition also covers two passport-sized color photographs and the use of a loaner gun for range qualification.

While classroom instruction takes place at either Providence Towers or the Regency Hotel Conference Center, Elite Handgun Academy's teachers give their students practical experience at a private, instructors-only range located in North Dallas, which features eight indoor, climate-controlled lanes.
Elite Handgun provides the free use of quality loaners guns, such as the Springfield XD9, Glock 17, Sig Sauer SP2022 or Beretta PX4 9mm.
