On Saturday and Sunday, June 15–16, from noon to 6 p.m., the Elk Run Spring Jazz Festival fills the Cold Friday Vineyard with jazz, local foods, wine tastings, and hayrides. Tours of the vineyard are presented by hayride through the vines. Artists such as the Joshua Bayer Trio and Darryl Brenzel Quartet will ply their grooves while of-age patrons sip the wares of the nearby vineyards. See the festival page for a lineup of performers.

About Elk Run Vineyards
Underneath the same country sky which blankets Frederick County Dairy farms and horse stables, the Elk Run vineyard sits on the rolling hills of Mt Airy on an original land grant to Lord Baltimore in 1756. These ideal growing conditions have allowed consistent award winning wines by the same winemaker Fred Wilson for 35 years, producing National and International Gold Silver and Double Gold medals for such wines as Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay and Gewurzrtraminer.
