At Ella's Frozen Yogurt, you get to make exactly the dessert you want from start to finish. You first select a base yogurt from the shop's arsenal of rotating flavors, which includes nonfat, low-fat, premium and sorbet options. Then you move on to the toppings area, where more than 50 different options range from fresh fruit to cereal, candy, and things that grow on trees. The family-owned series of yogurt shops has offered this choose-your-own yogurt adventure since 2011, when the original Ella's opened in Greenwood. Today the shops continue to serve National Yogurt Association-certified treats and double as event spaces as they host holiday parties, baby showers, and other community gatherings.
