Meet Paul. Paul is Ella's dad. He started Ella's Kitchen because he wanted to teach his daughter that eating healthily could be fun and delicious, too. Paul asked his daughter a lot of questions about what she liked about certain foods; he asked experts, too, including psychologists and supermarkets, about what makes foods appealing to kids. He discovered that the snacks little ones love most tend to appeal to all five senses; In addition to tasting and smelling good, they boasted bright packaging. Starting with USDA-certified organic baby foods, Paul set out to make his foods as fun as possible.
Along the way, he decided that the responsibility he'd taken on himself to instill lifelong healthy eating habits went with a few other responsibilities, too. He takes up community causes, donating money and offering support to worthy organizations. He also does his best to keep his company green, providing customers young and old with recycling instructions and even partnering with TerraCycle to make eco-products out of his baby food's discarded packaging.
