Getting your recommended daily dosage of cowboy has been a trying task ever since Hollywood stopped producing Westerns and your 10-gallon hat was ruined by that 10-gallon guacamole recipe. Go west with today's Groupon to the Ellensburg Rodeo at Ellensburg Rodeo Fairgrounds. Check the seating chart for section arrangements. Choose from the following ticket options to either the Friday night opening performance or Labor Day championship finals on Monday:
- For $18, you get two tickets to section 9 (ages 21+) on Friday, September 2 at 6:45 p.m. (a $36 value).

The final stop on the Wrangler Million Dollar Gold Tour, the Ellensburg Rodeo showcases the skills and spills of members of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and brandishes more than $400,000 in prize money. Tickets seat two sets of voice boxes within yodeling distance of a full schedule of riding, roping, and wrestling events with additional entertainment from rodeo clown JJ Harrison and specialty act John Payne the One Arm Bandit. Announcer Justin McKee showers the crowd with rodeo limn during the opening performances on Friday and the finals on Monday. A covered grandstand shelters sections 1–8 from sweltering sunrays and airplane bumper stickers, section 9 serves alcohol and is reserved for guests ages 21 and older, and sections AA–JJ comprise the arena-level seating to the left of the bucking chutes.
Started in 1923 by volunteer humans and freelance horses, the rodeo has evolved into a professional showcase but still maintains a strong local spirit with the help of several volunteer groups, a pre-rodeo parade, and a fair, which opens at 10 a.m. on Friday and Monday and can be accessed with the two rodeo tickets.
