During an approximately 2.5-hour outing, guests will take a vineyard tour, during which they’ll be able to discuss wine-related topics, including the effect terroir has on wines, the entire wine-making process, and what it takes to maintain a vineyard. Along the way, participants will visit the production area, see the equipment used to produce wine, and learn how wines are aged and cared for during the aging period. Guests will enjoy wine during the tour and the ensuing lunch, which will feature further discussions about the history and life of wine.
Emerald Creek Winery
From the north slope of Palomar Mountain, Emerald Creek Winery provides expansive views of rolling hills and verdant acreage. But nature isn't the only draw here—there's also the wine. With more than three decades of experience creating wine in the Temecula Valley, winemaker Mike Tingley produces vino ranging from traditional cabernet sauvignon to a delightfully fruity Muscat Canelli. Guests can reap the rewards of his labor while looking out on the land that made it all possible inside Emerald Creek's 5,000 square-foot tasting room.
