Come join our dance family! At Empower Dance we offer classes for all ages & levels from 16 months through adult! Improve your child's confidence with our Empower Dance programs! Classes for both Boys & Girls, we also have all boys classes available! Come learn from real industry professionals and ensure a professional and family oriented learning experience! Choose a package of dance classes where students will learn basic to advanced moves, make new friends, and improve their health! MEET THE OWNER!
Miss Courtney brings over 23 years of experience to her students! She is currently a Pro Cheerleader! She graduated from Rhode Island College with a B.S. in Business Management & and a Minor in Dance Performance/Education. During her time at RIC she was part of the Rhode Island College Dance Company and was a dancer in numerous professional shows. Courtney has managed and taught various competition teams after graduating from school, and also danced with The Movement Specialists hip-hop company for over 5 years. Courtney has trained with top choreographers in the New York to Boston area and loves to keep growing as a dancer and a choreographer everyday. Moniz continues to dance in professional guest roles in, and around the Boston area. Her most recent accomplishment is becoming a Professional Cheerleader for the Massachusetts Pirates, Indoor Arena Football League, part of the IFL. Additionally Courtney is also an adjudicator for That’s Entertainment Performing Arts Competition. She is currently an ambassador for Body Wrappers/ Angelo Luzio dance-wear. Courtney’s life long dream has been to own her own dance studio and is excited to have her dream come true! She is thrilled to be a dedicated studio owner, teacher, and judge, and thrives off inspiring the next generation. She looks forward to continuing her professional career as well as keeping her focus on her students and sharing her knowledge and dedication with them.
