There are many activities that should not be performed on an empty stomach, including swimming, surgery, and swimming 30 minutes after having your appendix removed. Acquire activity fuel with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of Ethiopian cuisine at Enat Restaurant in Alexandria. "Enat" means "mama" in Amharic, and authentic, utensil-free home cooking fills the menu of the eponymous, spice-filled eatery. Vegan options coexist peacefully alongside its meatful bretheren—try the tikil gomen—cabbage and potatoes simmered together with mild sauce ($8.95)—or tear into the bere wat, a beef stew made with a tongue-tingling herbed red pepper sauce ($13.95). A full bar and welcoming atmosphere round out meals at Enat, complimenting the social nature of Ethiopian dining.

I loved my overall experience at that restaurant. I will definitely be a regular there from now on.

The food is superior and well presented. I am wheat intolerant and they even have imported injeera made from teff. I have taken several friends to Enat since my first visit. It is one of my favorite restaurants.
