With today's side deal, $24 gets you one all-access pass that is good for every day of the 3DFest on the shores of Watson Lake in Prescott, a $55 value. The festival begins the evening of Friday, August 20, and runs through Sunday night, August 22. This festival brings together a groovy trio of D's—drums, dance, and didgeridoos—to create one of the chillest meetings of worldly music and dance in the megaverse. Kids younger than 10 and aliens traveling more than 30 light years to the festival get in free.
The aim of the festival is simple: to celebrate cosmopolitan togetherness through dance and cultural exchange. The means of achieving this are myriad, but the alt crowd will be there in force, offering spiritual healing, ancient wisdom, handcrafted handicrafts, and all the remaining hacky sacks in the world. Some of the land's most skilled men and women will lead more than 50 workshops in their craft, while 38 live music performances keep the vibes flowing freely. There will be plenty of other activities too, such as open dance and drum circles as well as ample hiking and kayaking opportunities. Check out the schedule for a full rundown of the weekend's events.
