About Engineering For Kids of Southwest Houston - Sugar Land, TX
Engineering for Kids of Southwest Houston was created with one purpose in mind: to make high-quality STEM education accessible, engaging, and inspiring for every child. We believe that curiosity is the foundation of innovation, and when children are exposed to hands-on learning early in life, they build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong passion for problem-solving. Our mission is to nurture that spark—guiding students ages 5–14 through meaningful experiences that help them understand not just what engineers do, but what they are capable of achieving.
We proudly serve the Fort Bend ISD and Lamar CISD communities, delivering STEM enrichment programs that blend fun with real learning. From chemical engineering and aerospace challenges to robotics, computer science, and marine engineering, our curriculum is designed to meet children where they are and bring STEM to life in a way that feels exciting, playful, and deeply rewarding. Every lesson, experiment, challenge, and project is structured to mirror real engineering processes—encouraging kids to ask questions, test ideas, build solutions, and celebrate the joy of discovery.
