What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We aim to teach hockey in a fun, family friendly, outdoor environment. Established in 1957, EFC Hockey is one of New Jersey's oldest running hockey clubs. There's nothing like learning and playing the game outside the way ice hockey was meant to be played.

What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the kids progress from new skaters who can barely stay on their feet to tough competitive little hockey players. It's a lot of hard work, but the kids learn quick that they will improve a little each session.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
Parents often tell us that as their kids learn to skate and play hockey, their confidence soars. Seeing the progress is a reward in itself.
