Q:

Approximately how many treatments for hair removal on face? I'm blonde but just have fine blonde hairs on my face.

Beth R.  asked on  Jun 5, 2012

A:

The protocol for laser hair removal on the face is 6 treatments, 6 to 8 weeks apart. You should start seeing results with laser hair removal with the first treatment. Laser hair removal does not work on blonde, white, grey or strawberry blonde hair. The hair has to have pigment for the laser to recognize the hair and kill the hair follicle, So therefore the darker the hair the better the results. There is a product that is called meladine that is suppose to dye the hair all the way to the follicle that is applied daily two weeks pryor to treatment.

Q:

I was wondering if one large area treatment includes both upper or lower legs or one treatment is for just one leg? and also does the laser hair removal in any way effect your skin, example makes is spotty or not smoooth???

Julijana C.  asked on  Jun 7, 2012

A:

The Large Covers either upper of both legs OR lower of both legs. We have never encoutered a laser tretment making the skin spotty or not smooth, if anything the reduction of hair should make the skin more smooth.

Q:

would a full face (medium area) include lip and chin/neck? or would those be two separate small areas?

michelle s.  asked on  Jun 5, 2012

A:

The Medium area would cover lip & chin but the neck is a separate area, depending on how much hair and adding gender in to the equation front of neck could, but not commonly could be a small area. To determine and possibly save some money you could schedule a short free consultaton.
