don't advertise fresh fruit and spring sounded like something that would be a bonus to the experience but it wasn't. Unless you start to offer a variety of nice fruit in a little bowl and a place to sit and relax and enjoy it, it doesn't really seem to be something that should be offered. Also, I think I got an ear infection from being in the tank. It's a little worrisome. All that aside, the experience was enjoyable and I'm glad I tried it. :)

What You'll Get

Like the three branches of the government, bodies, minds, and souls often find themselves in contentious disagreements over how much wine is too much wine in a voting booth. Reconcile triune tribunals with today’s Groupon to Enlighten Others. Choose between the following options:

  • For $29, you get a one-hour float in a sensory-deprivation tank, followed by fresh fruit and spring water (a $59 value).

  • For $79, you get a float package (a $178 value). The package includes:
  • One-hour float in a sensory-deprivation tank
  • One-hour massage
  • Fresh fruit and hot tea<p>

Enlighten Others’ sensory-deprivation tank lulls guests into silent and stimulus-free dream states as they float free of gravity. Eight-hundred pounds of epsom salts blend with water to create a mellifluous liquid mattress that causes the body to bob like a cork in a space station. Tanks are soundproof and lightproof, sealing off senses from the stress of the outside world in a pleasant and impenetrable cocoon. Thoughts drift as cells bathe in beta endorphins and silence soothes corporeal and karmic tension. The float tank’s signature solution also carries detoxifying qualities, helping reduce pain in muscles and joints. Bodies emerge into the land of the standing to munch on fresh fruit and sip spring water that doesn’t contain enough salt to melt a glacier.

Guests can also turn over sea-legs and limbs for one hour of general massage in styles such as deep tissue and sports, both of which take a therapeutic tack toward alleviating chronic pain and injuries. The fresh fruit and hot tea that close the session remind bodies of the pleasures of land-walking and stem urges to grow or purchase gills.
