Known for his good looks and his "great vitality and verve" (Los Angeles Times), Terry Barber brings his trio to the Irving Arts Center for a fun musical journey full of favorites in 10 different languages. Barber, a countertenor whose voice has no trouble going from high to low and back again, is set to entertain as part of the 60th anniversary season of the Entertainment Series with great international tunes like "Danny Boy," "La Vie en Rose," "Besame Mucho," "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and more. A former member of the Grammy-winning Chanticleer vocal ensemble, he's released several acclaimed albums, including 2015's Christmas Presence. He'll be accompanied by a Juilliard-trained concert pianist and a soloist from the New York Philharmonic on oboe, english horn, flute and clarinet.
