As the old saying goes: "If you give a man a fish, he'll say he ordered the pancakes. If you teach a man to cook, he'll stop mooching all your fish." For $25, today’s Groupon to Entrées to Go will teach you to prepare three gourmet half-sized entrees (a $50 value), which you'll then get to take home, cook, and eat at your leisure. Each half-sized entree feeds two to three people. Pre-assembly is available for $10 for the time-crunched, and delivery is also available for the really, really time-crunched.
To get started, peruse Entrées to Go's menu of classic American, Asian, and Italian dishes. The menu changes each month, but January entrees included Jamaican jerk chicken, ginger hoisin shrimp with jasmine rice, Asian chicken wings, and tomato basil soup in a bread bowl. Once you've made your selection, call ahead to make your reservation. When you arrive, the friendly, accommodating staff will guide you to a preparing station stocked with all the ingredients you’ve requested, as well as optional surprise ingredients such as "love" and "Grandma's secret." The staff will show you how to assemble your three dishes just the way you like them. Pack them up and take them home for immediate consumption, or freeze them for future use either as sustenance or trebuchet fodder during castle sieges.
Besides tasting better, costing less, and saving time on grocery shopping and dirty dishes, a cooking session with Entrées to Go is a fun Valentine's Day activity for couples that doesn't involve another awkward double date with your postman.
Each half-sized entree feeds two to three people.

One Yelper and two Kudzu users rate Entrées to Go a solid four stars:
- We love entrees to go [sic]! I can move an entree from the freezer to the frig in the morning and then pop it in the oven to cook while I feed my baby after work. The best part is no pots & pans to wash! Oh and the food is great… – jennbAZ, Kudzu
- Very Convenient! The selections are nice. The food is delicious. It's nice to not have to think too hard about what goes with what and what will really taste good. The food is fresh and easy to make. – mswilhelm, Kudzu
