What You'll Get
In nature, the only way for animals to achieve perfect vision is to crossbreed with an eagle, usually resulting in eagle-eyed abominations such as snakes with talons and flying pumas. Keep human senses sharp with today’s Groupon: for $50, you get an eye exam (a $119 value) and $200 toward a full set of eyewear, prescription lenses, and frames at Erker’s Fine Eyewear. Today's Groupon is good at Erker’s two locations, one on Clayton Road in the Granaway Market Place and one downtown on Olive Street. Groupon users can upgrade their exam to include a contact lens exam for $50, but the $200 credit cannot be applied toward contacts purchases.
Boasting a rich history, Erker’s Fine Eyewear has provided customers with striking spectacles since 1879—including Charles Lindbergh, who donned a pair of Erker’s custom goggles on his famous flight over the Atlantic. Give peepers the care and attention they deserve with an exam administered by Erker’s posse of experienced eye doctors ($119). Lenses start at $149, which includes scratch coating, while basic frames start at $29. Fashion-conscious squinters can use their Groupon to find a new pair of frames from Coach ($149–$330), Maui Jim ($189–$350), or Gucci ($250–$395) to accent their best features, such as fetching baby-brown eyes and cosine graph-shaped eyebrows. Visitors can stop by and have the knowledgeable staff help them pick out new frames that meld seamlessly with their personality, face shape, and ‘tude-flashing 1870s penny-farthing.
This Groupon is not valid toward contact lenses, cannot be used with insurance, and must be used to purchase a full set of frames and lenses.

About Eye Roc Eyewear
In 1927, thousands of feet above the Atlantic, Charles Lindbergh was shielded from the elements only by the Spirit of St. Louis' thin linen covering. His eyes, though, boasted much sturdier protection on that historic flight—a custom pair of goggles designed by brothers A.P. and August Erker. More than 80 years and four generations later, the Erker name still stands behind high-quality optics.
Jack Erker Jr., great-grandson of August, presides over the business's two present-day locations, which have also played their part in adorning famous eyes. During Jack's tenure, Will Smith, John Goodman, and Shaquille O'Neal have all stopped in to swap needlepoint tips and grab a pair of stylish frames, which are sourced from Italian and German design houses, as well as his own manufacturing division, Studio Optyx.
